The GCCF show class structure for pedigree exhibits is changing with effect from 1st June 2011. From that date Exhibitors will only be able to enter their cat/s in ONE class of four: Breed Class (for non-titled cats); Champion/Premier class (for Champions/Premiers); Imperial Grand Champion/Imperial Grand Premier Class (for Grand Champions/Grand Premiers) or the new OLYMPIAN class (for Imperial Grand Champions/Imperial Grand Premiers) depending on the cat's qualification. All cats will be considered for Best of Breed unless the exhibitor states otherwise.
The Olympian class is for cats with the Imperial title across ALL the sections. There will be an Olympian Grand Champion Class (to be split male and female if both sexes entered) and an Olympian Grand Premier Class (to be split male and female if both sexes entered). There will be a Reserve award available.
Please note that these changes do not affect household pets. Full Details are available from the GCCF and there is a summary for exhibitors at our show.

The Club is upgrading this web site with new technology that allows more flexibility! The general style will not change; however, some pages will function better; in particular, the guest book offers an improved anti-spam measure.
In view of increased awareness of internet security, most content no longer requires JavaScript to be enabled. The photo gallery will continue to require it for a while (the program is still being written) but will eventually be upgraded.
If anything on the site behaves unexpectedly, please contact the Webmaster.

We are please to announce that we finally have some pictures from the 2008 show! Please accept our apologies for the delay and technical problems – we thought we had solved these in 2007, but life is unfortunately never as simple as we would like! If you see your cat on the gallery page, please let us know who they are so that we can put their name up with their picture.
There are also some pictures from the show on Cat Planet.

There is a new benefit of membership in the form of special certificates for cats who gain titles or equivalent. We are also reviewing our show support policy, due to the fact that several shows do not offer club classes any more. It is anticipated that any changes will be minor clarifications rather than major revisons. Please refer to the membership page for details of these changes.
1st July 2005
We have added a guest book to the site. This is your opportunity to publicly have your say about the Club and site. Please do not use the guest book to ask questions, though; if you need the answer to a specific question, please use the contact page and direct your query appropriately.
