Benefits of Membership
The Club
The London Cat Club is an exciting and friendly club open to all cat lovers, breeders and exhibitors throughout the United Kingdom and overseas. We aim to promote the welfare and love of all cats, pedigree breeds and household pets alike.
If you join the club, you also become entitled to the benefits of membership listed here, including show support and reduced fees when entering cats in our annual show.
Show Support
In general, our policy is to offer Club Support at any All Breed Show held within 100 miles of London. The details are under review, as many shows no longer have club classes, but the following are already confirmed and take effect immediately:
- Rosettes to be awarded in respect of any supported show for 1st Prize Open Class wins.
- Special certificates to be awarded in respect of any show for gaining GCCF titles.
In the latter case this is defined as follows:
- For Champion Status pedigree breeds: Upon attaining the rank of Champion, Premier, Grand, UK Grand, Imperial, and so forth (i.e., any GCCF title).
- For Provisional Status pedigree breeds: Upon first amassing three Intermediate Certificates.
- For Experimental Status pedigree breeds: Upon first amassing four merits.
- For Household Pets: Upon first amassing three 1st Prize Open Class show wins.
Any member whose cat qualifies for any of the above awards or who requires further information should contact the Show Support Secretary.

Breeder and Stud List
We update our breeder and stud list annually, so if you are a member who would like to be included in either or both of these lists, then please contact the Breeder List Maintainer and/or the Stud List Maintainer, as applicable.
How to Join
To join The London Cat Club please download and complete a Membership Form or contact the Membership Secretary and ask them to send you one. Please send the completed form, along with your membership fee, to the Membership Secretary.
If, after doing so, you would like to set up a standing order to pay for your membership in future years, please download and complete the Standing Order Form, returning the top half to the Membership Secretary and the bottom half to your bank.

Membership fees are due 1st January every year (as of 1st January 2006, the initial entry fee was abolished). If you joined between 1st October and 31st December, you are considered to be paid up for the immediately-following calendar year.
If you are joining between 1st October and 31st December and paying your first membership fee directly to the Membership Secretary, but want to pay future years by standing order, please start the standing order after the immediately-following 1st January, unless you want to pay twice for your first year!
